You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being "in love" which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. I always believed that love should be a thing shared between two people. We share our love because it makes us a better person. The person we love is an enhancement of our life and we cannot live without. She is the person that when we wake up next to we smile, he is the person that comforts us in our despair. When we become one with some we cannot hate that person because they are part of us. You cannot love a tree and hate it's roots. We love because we know the world is harsh, we love because we know that someone needs us, we love because we recognize the greatness in ourselves but we can't either comprehend or recognize it. The great thing about love is that he recognizes our potential and feeds our ego to succeed, she is the person that when we forget to believe in ourselves he does. They are the person that when they say they love you. They look deeply in your eyes... they look deeply in the eyes, they look deeply in the pupil, they look deeply in your retina. To view your soul and say I love you. She walks each day and repeats your name because without you, she would lose a piece of herself. He walks each day and smiles because he knows that you bring meaning and stability to his life. She laughs because she has let her self go and has truly let him be who he is. He cries because he wonders if he is good enough to her. The thing about love is that it views that both people are amazing. He loves you for everything even your flaws... so stop being self conscious . She recognizes your greatness and traits even if they are not fully developed, so trust him. He sees where you are going even if your vision is blind. Know that through your flaws he loves you and she wants to love you for who you are now and who you are going to be. It may take a while, but let it be, because love views no boundaries and it is deeper than the sea
