So I had a good time tonight. Rosie and Shawn and I decided to go playground, as we had never playgrounded before.
It started rather innocently, with Marky and Leslie and the 3 of us messing around at the playground at Rosies apartment. Then the real fun started. Marky and Leslie went home, and Rosie, Shawn and I went to Our Lady of Fatima, because their playground has the best kill-yourself-by-falling-from-a-high-height monkey bars. I swear, they rock. SO tall. Then we went to Longfellow, because there is a statue that is like a mountain. Seriously, its huge! And I climbed almost all the way to the top, even though the wind kept trying to blow me off, and it was really dark. The cactus at the base kept trying to eat me too...and then, Walmart adventures and tacos. And political discussions. GOOD TIMES. This summer we are having the best of the best playground scavenger hunt. Pictures and much posts to follow...
Nothing like a little sand in your socks (and hair, and underwear!) to make you remember the good things in life.
And boy, did I need to remember the good things. My show opens tonight (thursday) and we are not ready. Im going in as soon as the space opens this afternoon to do my best to pull the rest of it together. Hopefully it all works out. Cross your fingers for us.
Personal life stress doesnt help, so thank you E and J for straightening things out and talking to me about everything. Although I get angry, and make it seem like I hate it when you talk to me about emotional stuff, it really helps, and it means a lot to me. So once again, (sorry for being repetitive), thank you for everything. I owe you.
PS. Pollution makes the moon look beautiful. Am I a terrible person for thinking that??
