Well... there's a bulldog at work in the ICU. Not surprisingly, he is suffering from EVERY SINGLE THING I mentioned in the previous entry; right down to nearly dying under anesthesia. For the love of your wallet... please do not get one of these animals.
His name is Max. According to his owner, he is named that because he has the max load of everything: Piss, shit, vomit, drool and problems.
On another note... I just bit down on my tongue piercing and took a rather large chunk out of a tooth. Last time this happened I broke a crown that I had only a year and just finished paying $3,000 for. Needless to say... that's been taken out. It kinda sucks too cause that was one of my favorite piercings. OH well, I'm sure I'll put it back in within a few weeks... just like I did last time.
I went to boston last week. That was a good time... except the T. Not so good when it comes to anxiety. Oh well...I survived. Got a new glass piece while I was out there. Its very cute- about the size of a Bic. I'll have pics up eventually.
Well... I supppose that's all I have to talk about right now.
Man, I could go for some cheap wine right about now...

I think you've got a good point about English bulldogs. I adopted an older (7-8 yo) half-English/half-boxer who developed so many of those problems in the time I had her before she died. It does seem that it might be cruel to continue those breeds.
Granted, Rosie was an absolute joy of a dog, and I'm glad I was able to have her as a pet, but I don't think I would ever get a bulldog puppy.
