Gahh so the weekend just gone was so good! seriously, i have come away feeling so much more confident in myself and my modelling, its a good feeling as i have always been so unsure of myself.
SO, first of we will start with friday night! Holy moly did we get to see some awesome bands! First up was a band from Byron Bay (i cant quite remember their name -.- shame on me) but they absolutely killed it! next up Stick to your guns played, they were pretty good, i hadn't listened to much of their stuff. THEN CHELSEA GRIN!!! AHHHHH they were flipping the bees knees, so good so good! and last but not least, the main band, Amity. they played a lot of favourites which was good, but by the end of the night i was so tired and my back was so sore from standing i had to sit on the wet grass most of the time haha, because yes, it rained, typical brisbane haha. One of the highlights of my night was when 2 young girls come up to me just to tell me how pretty they thought i was :3 that was the sweetest most flattering thing ever <3
When the show finished michael and I went to pancake manor (for those who dont know, its a 24hour pancake restaurant thing) i had some yummy crepes, was delish. Then its was literally straight back to the room and too bed... no partying for us, getting to old for all that shit haha, im boring i know.
Saturday! we had a little sleep in because we were pooped from the night before... then went and did a little shopping and prepping for my first shoot with @neillh which went really really well, had so much fun and it really built my confidence.after the shoot, michael and i ordered room service then went and check out the pool and sauna... the 'heated' pool was still not warm enough for me haha so i dragged michael into the sauna... we got bored pretty quick and went back to the room and watched tv and then went to bed early because you know, what else do you do on holidays... but no in all seriousness i had another shoot super early the next morning and wanted to be fresh.
Sunday... what a day, sunday was huge! up at 5;30am to get ready for my second shoot with @trickett and his beautiful partner Jaimee. What a team, they were so fun. i seriously had a ball guys. We even ended up doing 2 different shoots, so hopefully there will be enough images for 2 sets from the one morning, both were very different and im so excited about them!After the shoot, michael and i went to get breakfast. then it was of to Wild at Heart Tattoo studio for my appointment with Dale Winter for my marathon sitting haha and by golly gosh didnt it turn out amazing <3 but i will fill you in on that in another blog as im having trouble uploading this one as it is :(
and i guess that is basically all for the weekend.
I just want to say a HUGE thankyou to @neillh and @trickett and of that includes you jaimee <3 thank you so much guys for working with me, i learnt so much and im very grateful for the opportunity. i very much hope to work with each of you again!
