Tom chambers some examples:
i have been on the search for a new favorite contemporary photographer as of late, and I'm just so disappointed. I have come across a few rare photos that I pause to look at and am only slightly amused or intrigued. Nothing has really grasped my attention though. I am sick of seeing photographs of naked ladies laying on trees or somewhere in the photograph.... What is that saying? Nudity can work for an artistic statement, but I think it is so overused I don't think even they know where they were going with it. But anyway.....I am a very picky when it comes to criticizing photographs. They are either exploiting the subject, or they are too asthetically pleasing or not at all, or they are not thought-provoking....etc...anyway just ignore my ranting because I really shouldn't complain. my photographs are poo, but at least I know they are, and can appriciate others who are amazing and unwilling to succumb to the cliches.
