I was so excited when my husband suggested we join this site. So excited in fact, that I shared the link with a message board I frequent. Everyone there was very supportive and excited about it. Then, this guy who had never been in this message board before last week sent me a little note detailing how I have no business really being on this site because I am so fat and would never cut it in the SG world. Now, I know I am a big girl, there's no denying that. But I don't find my size to be a detraction from my inner beauty. I've got a fairly positive self image and this kind of stuff usually doesn't get to me...but for some reason, this guy upset me. I think it was less to do with his actual words and more to do with him butting into a friendly thread and making everyone uncomfortable. The people on the board tore into him pretty bad, but here I sit days later still thinking about it. Damn It All To Hell.
