I'm updating, all right?

I saw the Breeders last night and had a blast. Karen O came on stage to do a number with Har Mar Superstar which was actually pretty rad. All in all, good times were had. I rocked my socks off.

Have been thinking a lot lately about finally getting back into academia. It's really the only thing I desire to do, however, my debt is already staggering and has always held me back. I'm about to say, 'fuck it,' as this work-a-day-brain-drain is just not what I'm cut out to do. Either that, or I've been fantasizing about a wrap around porch in New Orleans and working for Brinkley's think tank. Maybe I could pick up an accent... and a penchant for zydeco. Either way... progress must be made.

I'm off to the Bedroom Walls/Liars show tonight. Hopefully my late night carousing will not impede my stamina this evening. Then... I'm off to the orange-blossom-scented Ojai valley this weekend for pot-tubbing, fresh pina coladas and a little relaxing after this non-sensical week.

My ex-boyfriend wants me to fly back to Iowa for his brother's wedding, spend the weekend with him... except... he'll also be bringing his new girlfriend as his date? Sometimes men can be such mouth-breathers.

Oh: the guy's at work are giving me my own porn showcase. We're hoping to get it on the live site by the end of the week. It will be called "The E-Spot." I got from research nerd to this in less than two years? Huh... wha?
