My dog is getting really old. She'll be 15 in July. She's still happy, and enjoys her walks and car rides and being around people, and when she's awake she's pretty alert, but she's been slowing down. She sleeps a lot, and sometimes when she's awake she sometimes looks sad or really tired. Lately her appetite isn't what it used to be, which I think may have something to do with the sudden intense heat, because she does get overheated easily, but it's very unusual for her to not want to eat her food. Last night we had some friends over, and she was sleeping next to me on the floor, and someone made a noise that jostled her awake, and then for the rest of the night she kept having these weird muscle spasms and was twitching all over the place, like she couldn't control her body. It was pretty unnerving to say the least. Some days it seems like she'll be around forever....just 2 days ago she jumped out of a parked car window (she's Beagle-sized) and landed safely to the ground and just started sniffing around, like it was nothing. At her age, most dogs can't even jump into the car let alone fly out of the window like that! And then there's nights like last night...where she looks like an old, old lady just trying to make it through the night. It's hard watching your baby regress...I've had her since I was ten.
My little Pebbles. I'll just keep on loving her.

That's all you can do...
Something about that first pic is incredibly sexy, haha. Weird?
Not weird at all, I have sexy hands! They're actually one of my better features and I'm able to do some pretty interesting things with them.
Here, add this to your spank bank: The full sized image.
Shady is doing a lot better now, still limping a bit, but putting weight on her back leg and getting around just fine, all things considered.
And on the whole biodegradable thing, I know exactly what you mean, when I was a kid and supposed to pick up after my dog I would get out the hose (if it was nice enough) and just blast em with water, hell it's good for the lawn anyways.
