Ah, memorial day weekend. It's nice, cuz everyone is out and about, having fun. Today I rode my bike to the Asian festival, which was really cool. I got to see some traditional eastern dance as well as martial arts, lots of yummy food and an open market with all kinds of lovely things I can't afford. (Although I did buy Battle Royale: Director's Cut on DVD, and a pretty dress that turned out to be way too big after I brought it home. Good thing my mom is a seamstress.) Then Nate and I went to a friend's house for a big ol' dinner, complete with apple struesel and wine. (A little too much wine, haha.) And the weather was perfect. Finally, spring!!

In other news, I quit my job. Too much drama, and my managers were really shady and always trying to rip me off. Plus, i got impatient with all the old dudes wanting to sit with me forever before finally buying a dance, if ever. So tomorrow I'm going to try a different club, one that is faster paced and has a lot more customers, which means more dancing (yay! that's the fun part,) and more money. AND, best of all, I get to make my own schedule EVERY WEEK at this new place. That's perfect for me, as my schedule is very inconsistent and I want to travel more. Hell yeah. Wish me luck!
