So, I dunno what's up with Ohio, but the last 3 days of cold-as-fuckness were really fucking lame.
But alas, today he sun is shining and although I haven't been outside yet, I'm assuming it's warm! I was sick for about 4-5 days, which started last Friday at work when I had a sudden dizzy/sweaty spell that ended in getting a ride home from a friend and puking up all my lentil stew as soon as we reached my house. Fortunately it was on the street, and my shoes, and not in her car. I remained dizzy/tired/randomly sweaty for about 3 more days, then I went to a free walk-in clinic to see what the fuck was wrong with me, and i waited 3 hours just for the fucking Dr. to tell me a bunch of shit I already know and then try to convince me to stop smoking pot. I almost got into an argument with the old man, but whatever, let it be. But, at least I made an appointment for Monday to meet with their surgeon about getting my keloids removed!! So it wasn't a lost cause after all.
So, since I've been sick and all, I haven't been exercising and I've been eating A LOT. I think I put on a couple pounds. I'm trying to lose about 5-8lbs., which would put me in the 120-125 range where I feel the best. So that means lots of long walks with my dog (which we do already,) and lots and lots of bicycling. I'm trying to get my abs back, too. Maybe I'll post photographic evidence, some before and afters. What do you guys think?
In other news, Japanese is going well, as I have improved my study habits and got a 94% on my first test! Not bad, eh? As i mentioned before, I've never been much of a student, so I really don't know how to study or set aside time for homework and things like that, but I'm learning. It feels pretty good, actually, and I think I may even take an additional class next quarter. Aside from learning Japanese, I would like to get an associates in Graphic Design, so I'm going to start taking classes towards that. I decided that of all my career ideas always floating around in my head, (decorator, clothing designer, accessory designer, graphic artist, burlesque dancer, pirate, bum,) graphic designer seems the most practical. Mostly because the school I'm going to offers it, but also because it could be a great marketing tool for my other creative endeavors and will come in handy when I do start my own business. Plus, I can help advertise for my friends who are musicians and artists and whatnot, and other worthy causes. So that's my plan. I'm feeling pretty good about it.
I'm feeling pretty good in general. How 'bout that?
Well, my long post is coming to an end. I hope you all are well. And for those of you who always have something nice to say and good advice to give who I rarely respond to, please know that your words mean a lot and I'm just lazy and too self-absorbed at times to tell you. Thanks.

onesandzeros:
Yeah I've decided if it snows again I'm packing up all my things and immediately moving south.

Seriously it has to be at least 10 if not 15 years since I'd last flown a kite. It was really stupid fun, but it was fun.
