I suppose I ought to....in case anyone is interested.
A lot has happened in the past month. My roomate at the artist community had to move to Florida to live with her parents because she went bankrupt, basically. Since I couldn't afford the $750 rent on my own, I moved back in with Nate. And besides the deathly allergic reaction I am having to the cat/rat/carpet combo, things are pretty awesome. Nate and I are back "together" (though we were never really apart,) and we're solid. I've been back here for about 3 weeks. I took almost a month off of work, which was sweet, and now I'm paying the price but it's all good. Got a new job working at a travelling exhibit called Bodies: The Exhibition, which showcases real human bodies that have been preserved and stripped of their skin so that you can see their full anatomy, and so far it's been a good experience. Educational and interested, to say the least. Then in October I'm moving to Chicago, and in January I'll be starting school at the Harrington College of Design. I really didn't think I would ever go to school, mostly because of the expense and some personal hang-ups I had about past academic experiences, but I am 100% positive about my decision and fucking excited to learn Interior Design. That's my current state of existence in a nutshell.
So last night Nate and I did something we've talked about for years. We've been practicing some songs together and finally got up the balls to perform a little set for open mic night at this chill little place called Victorian's Midnight Cafe. We fucked up the first 2 songs pretty bad and had a good laugh, but our last song, I Shall Be Released by Bob Dylan, came together really well. We had a blast. Then my good friend Dave did his set, which was phenomenal as always, then he and his girl Sapna and a charming fellow named Thomas came over to our place for beers, a few bowls of hash, and a very disoriented game of Clue. (It was Prof. Plum in the library with a knife, fyi.) Good times had by all.
I'll try to be a little more update-y in the future. Hope all is well.

Amy Sol did my profile pic. If you like her stuff, you should definitely check out Audrey Kawasaki. She's my #1 right now, giant foam finger and all.
