So I got my ears pierced again the other day, and the guy didn't ask me what gauge I wanted. He shoved this big hollow needle into my ear, and from the looks of it, it's probably a 14. A girl at work told me that when they use hollow needles, it actually slices out a chunk of ur flesh. NIIIIICE. Oh well, they look nice, and it doesn't hurt as much any more. It's just quite crusty. (Yes, I have been cleaning them.)
I had an interview at the Humane Society yesterday, for desk receptionist. Something about the people interviewing me made the place seem a little shady?? First of all, they wouldn't even tell me what my wage would be. Second, they said something like "All of our information, including salary, staff members, clientel, and the number, status, or care of the animals is strictly confidential." Huh?? What the hell goes on in that place? Also, they told me I'd only be allowed 4 personal days a year, with only one per quarter. (Bullshit if u ask me.) The entire "interview" was just them giving me an overview of the job and the hours (9-5 monday thru friday, but u may have to stay till 7 on thursdays, and work on some saturdays,) telling me I'd have to take a drug test, and all the confidential stuff. It took about 3 minutes. Then they asked me if I had any questions. Hmmmm, well seeing as how u guys probably won't give me any answers, no. So then they said, "Ok, thank you for coming in. We will give u a call if we decide to hire u." I'm not so sure if I'd want to take it. Also, it sounds like they really want someone permanent, and I'd be there for about 2 months. Part of me wants to work there just to see if I can uncover any sick experiments or foul treatment and bust 'em. But I doubt they'll even call me.
Shit, it's almost 1:00. I have to work at three and I haven't done anything today. I better go. Byebye.
