Nate makes me so digustingly giddy sometimes.
Oh, and we talked about the drug thing, a LOT. Although there are still some unsettled arguments, we at least have an understanding of each other's opinions. We talked about a lot of shit, actually. It was looong overdue. We haven't had a good, long conversation in a while, and I was feeling a little loss of connection there for a bit. I'm really happy we got to talk, even if a good part of it was him rambling. (He had a lot of stuff to get off his chest.) So yeah, all is well in the land of EmiNate.
Rage Against the Machine was an incredible band. Listen to them, listen to them now!!! It'll make u want to start a riot/revolution. (Zach De La Rocha may be coming out w/ a solo project??? Just something I heard...)
I need to get some new pics up in here. Ya'll have to see the size of Nate's fro, it's ridiculous. He got his liscense renewed, and he was REALLY pissed off when he got it done. He looks like a terrorist in the pic, hahaha.
Man I want to get my fucking tattoo done. Come summer when I move out and save some money, I will have a glorious tree on my back. I'm thinking about writing a lame-ass book, like a picture book, about how I've learned everything I need from trees. I'm serious, whenever I have a problem, I just go to a wooded area and climb some trees or whatever, and I find answers. Like recently, I realized that I strive too hard for perfection, to the point where if one tiny thing goes wrong in my day I get very, very upset. But then I went to a local wilderness park and noticed that the things I found most beautiful there were the plants or trees that were oddly shaped or just irregular (imperfect.) And it made me realize that flaws are what make us beautiful, because they make us unique. Beauty lies in the random, in the imperfections, and although I've always known this to some extent, I have never applied it to how I see myself. So I'm trying to learn to embrace my and everything else's flaws, just like I do in nature.
Oh, and as if I don't already sound enough like a hippie, Friday is Earth Day!!! Go outside and garden or pick up trash, or begin recycling. I'm actually taking the day off of work just so I can spend the day outdoors with good ol' mother nature.
Then I'm going to go camping w/ Nate and Matt, which will be a shitload of fun. I'm a geek, I know. Go ahead and call me a nature freak, this is where I find my peace. I actually take that as a compliment.
Anyway, now that everyone has had their fill of tree-love to the point of puking, I'm gonna go. Byebye.
