Holy cow, it's been a year since I was in Ireland. It doesn't feel like that long at all, and yet it feels like a decade ago. The green, I miss the green! And the sheep and wild ponies, and the monasteries and castles and cathedrals, and the kind people, and the cheese!

I need another adventure... Egypt here I come! love

I've decided that I'm going to get my nipples re-pierced tomorrow!! It's been almost a year since I took them out, and I think that I'm finally ready for it. I'm going to get barbells, since last time I got rings and I think I'll like the barbells better.
I'm also going to get a labret if it isn't too much.. smile Monroe piercing!

H'hm, I understand what you mean.
To me, it's like.. We don't really have a right to dictate what everyone else believes, you know? A person might not care for religion, like you, and another person holds religion so close to them that it makes up their life.

As an atheist, I find it hard to understand any form of religious fanaticism. As a philosophical humanist, I find it relatively easy to understand why people believe in this stuff without actually buying into any of it. As an ordinary human being, I never understand why anyone thinks they have a right to try and enforce their beliefs on others. One day at a time, each person as you find them.... no-one can do any more than that... wink
