i'm home for my lunch break and ALMOST done with my 5-5 shift. I can't wait to come back home and just SLEEP. holy shit, it sucks VERY VERY VERY bad. yesterday went pretty smoothly. today, the machine i'm working on will NOT stop fucking up!! This lady loads huge stacks of 23 * 35 paper into a machine, it runs through and folds it in half, then in half again. I'm at the end of the machine catching stacks and collating them on a pallet. Sound easy? Well, this machine folds appx 80,000 sheets an hour. The geniuses in the plant decided we should run 95,000 an hour. And they expected everything to be honky dory? There's a fucking reason the fastest is 80,000. Plus the paper we're folding is a little thinner than what normally goes on that machine, causing it to rip mid-fold and jam. Since I don't know how to fix anything, i just have to fucking STAND there waiting for them to figure out what's wrong. I can't sit down, help any one else, or go on break ... just fucking stand there. i feel SOOO out of place. and my back REALLY hurts cause the tray/table I have to scoop the paper off of is about thigh high so I have to hunch over a little bit for every single stack. Ugh.
I know I brought it on myself, cause I need the money, but it's safe to say I will not be working a Sunday 5-5 shift again.
p.s. my feet hurt like holy hell.

I hope your feet feel better. Kinda sucks working with the 'geniuses,' who always know what's best for you and your job.
