Back in Vegas .... dropped my parents off at the airport earlier this afternoon.
I'm sad to see them go but feel good to have some alone time .... its only been three months
We went to San Diego yesterday....it took about five and a half hours to drive there ... but definately worth it only if it was for the day....i so desperately needed to be by the ocean....it is so calming ..... and maybe someday california will fall into the ocean and we, who live in las vegas, will have beach front property....
I am excited to say that coming back here i was actually excited and felt like i was coming home .... something i haven't felt in far too long
but .... before i left....there were a few things that happened....
i met hans last tuesday when he was done with work for a drink at the tower....and FINALLY .... yes FINALLY .... sitting at the very table next to me was.....and i apologize for the bad camera phone picture.....
that's right....Lori Barbero from Babes in Toyland (a local minneapolis resident) ... eating chicken fingers and drinking Premium
its been forever and everyone i have known has run into her...one of hans' aquaintances made out with her ...
but yes...finally....a childhood dream has come true
so ... after our drinks we went to Le Tigre down at first avenue....which was quite good and very fun....and also a landmark being able to see Kathleen Hannah live ....
(two legends in one day )
we stayed at Hans' parents (sans parents) condo on Nicolette mall ... and the next morning woke up to find our cars towed...neither of our faults .... hans had signed both ours in while i waited for the cab to first ave...and aparently there had been a notice UNDER the sign in book that they were doing construction work in the morning (which they still hadn't started when i left at noon) and that all cars had to be out .... so they fucking towed BOTH our cars instead of taking the elevator up and telling us to move them....so it cost 235$ PER CAR to get them out .... which hans refused to let me pay stating that he was going to be my "knight in shining armour"...(I will find a way to pay him back without ruining the gesture) ... but not the greatest way to say good bye as he had to go immediately to work and sent me back up to shower and get ready and bring his keys over to where he worked...i did however get a hug and kiss in the middle of the restaurant and mangaged to stifle my tears until i was out of sight
i then spent the afternoon and early evening with escottie at his place and then at Bob's Java Hut (my favorite minneapolis coffee shop) ... i do believe i will miss that place the most and escottie as well
i left him to meet my other friend scott (aka superframer) for sushi...where i had the best meal of my entire life .... and then did some clothes browsing around Calhoon Square
i then left for home .... spent the remainder of my time packing and drove back to vegas .....
i think that's enough information for one night .... sleep well all

Thank you for the compliment! : ) I love your work (in your pictures section). I must congratulate you on an attendance at MCAD that did not result in the loss of your soul. ; )
