Hello all...I am finally able to move around instead of lying on the floor because my body hurt so badly.....ahhh Trent
The show was AMAZING....
While standing in line, the Dresden Dolls walked right past me to get to their bus and no one recognized them but me and I had this huge grin on my lips and amanda smiled at me and Brian said Hi with this very friendly face and I said hello (and my knees melted a little)....
They were FANTASTIC by the way...and if you haven't boughten their album ... YOU MUST!
Camera pics suck sometimes...but they are still definately worth having.
The Dresden Dolls
I had a really good spot for half of the show. I was able to get my friend Dalia a ticket and when we got there we picked a spot about 15 feet from the stage and near a railing. I spent half the concert propped up grabbing onto the other side (hence the bruses and neck injuries) and Dalia was able to prop herself up on the corner of the railing and sit there. And we switched halfway through...so I was dead center, sitting on the railing, the highest person in the place, directly in front of Trent .... so for an hour ... I know that he at least noticed me
So.... here are some pictures...and yes ... he came out in a white button up shirt and I've never seen a white shirt be sexier.....
All I can say is that it was an absolutely amazing show. Every song was perfect and he played for about 2 hours. The music took over control of my body. I cried during Hurt (which I always do...as it is my favorite song in creation)...and I never wanted it to end.
I also picked up the new cd yesterday....of course. It takes a few listens and then you realize the glory of it...it is wonderful.
In other news...Hans is coming tomorrow and I am anxious and neverous all at once. He'll be here until Monday.
My air conditioning stopped working ... and it was 95 today at 4:00...It is fucking hot in my apartment...aparently it is low on frion but they can't fix it until tomorrow...so very hot in here.
Otherwise...I am in pleasant spirits ... much do to darling Trent...and hope that it will continue this way for quite awhile.
