I've decided that it is impossible to combine Renaissance, Mannerism, Baroque, and Rococo into one 45 minute lesson...it is already 18 pages long and not even close to being done. I can sense pure exhaustion approaching....

I learned how to make blank books today...taught myself...because I promised the art club kiddies that I would teach them tomorrow ... good thing it worked out

In other news...spoke again to the boy and we began to plan what we are going to do when he gets here ... I am getting quite excited. I'm thinking about seeing a cirque du soleil show, the gugenheim, and i think first friday is the same week-end he's coming...but i need more ideas than that. I want him to have fun ... but we are so much of the arty, coffee shop, bars, shows, dinner and conversation people...that the "art" community here in Vegas and the so called "coffee-shops .. ie Starbucks" ... leaves little to be imagined. He's not much of a clubber so that wont help...(although I like to go but I'm not about to force him to go somewhere he is uncomfortable). Oh well....I'm sure that I'm just getting overly anxious. I just hope everything works out....he still has to get people to cover him at work. I'm excited though ....
