I am happy to report that I finally had a good day despite the fact that I only recieved two hours of sleep due to my terrible day yesterday and the looming fact that I was determined to go back and try to fix what had happened. I ended up having a really good discussion with my supervising administrator who apologized profusely for HER behavior yesterday!!! Although, I am still not allowed to show "that kind of art" or anything else that could be taken into "offense." And I have become the talk of the art kids...one of my boys wants to have us screen print the girls painting onto t-shirts and have all of us wear them in protest...my kiddies make me so proud! Even though I told him that was not a good idea for me to be a participant of because I don't need to get into anymore trouble...but he could do it on his own of course.

So...I feel pretty good right now.

Welcome to Las Vegas. Sorry you aren't happy here. I have been here 27 years and figure one place is as good as another. I read about your saga and from your description of the work it seems like the admin was out of line, especially since it is artistic expression. My wife is a high school librarian and says her principal is all about the image the school projects so she works real hard to stay on his good side. I teach yoga part time at UNLV so they leave me alone there, I was told I couldn't burn inscense in the PE building but that was understandable. Mr Blister says your looking for some good soup? I had some good sweet potato soup at Mesa Grill @ Ceasars on sunday.
