Greetings, friends. The girls say farewell.
By the girls, I mean my breasts. You know, the giant saddle bags tethered to my chest. They say farewell, because I am getting a breast reduction February 5th.
Oh, but don't fret...it's a scarless procedure so they shouldn't be too hideous, and there's a chance that I might only be able to get down one cup size anyway. That's the downside to liposuction. I know, I'm sure the idea of my boobs getting the fat sucked out of them is truly an arousing thought.
Did I mention that I saw a regular breast reduction surgery once and the inside of the boob kind of looks like lasagna?
I know, I know...I should really stop before you all start craving Italian.
With any luck, I should be able to get my boobs down to a C cup. Ah, sweet glorious C cup...so I can actually buy normal bras that don't cost a ton of money and I can wear all those cute outfits I always see made for women with "normal" sized boobs.
So, that is all. Wish me luck!
UPDATE: I wanted to answer a question about the breasts looking "empty" after the procedure. The skin tightens back up with the loss of weight, I saw some of the before and after photos and it seems like the boobs shrink right up, and younger patients tend to have more elastic skin so they get more shrinkage. Hopefully that means my boobs will look the same overall, just a bit smaller...
