Well holy crap.
Last night I started to feel better, but this morning I felt absolutely terrible, so terrible that my eyes were involuntarily tearing up. My nose wouldn't stop running and I had to blow my nose every 5 seconds. To top it all off, I had to go to class at 8 to turn in my two finals (since I have the same professor for both classes, I figured I'd turn them both in at once so I could go home and sleep.)
It seemed like everything was going wrong. I had burned my finals on two separate discs, which I still needed to write on with a sharpie. I put the discs in my computer to see which one was which....low and behold, one of my finals didn't even burn onto the disc. What?! And then (and this sounds like no big deal but is a huge task for a sick person), I couldn't find a sharpie so I had to rummage around looking for one. Finally I found one, wrote on the one disc that did burn properly and shuffled off to class. The cold air outside immediately started burning the shit out of my throat and every breath felt labored. My left nostril was stinging terribly. Today just didn't seem like my day at all.
Then a miracle happened. I showed up at school and tested my one blank disc that didn't seem to be working on one of the Macs, and my files were actually there, my stupid PC was just not reading them properly for whatever reason. THANK GOD. When my professor showed up, she immediately saw something was wrong with me and asked if I was feeling okay. I still have a hard time talking so I must have sounded super pathetic when I told her I've been sick for the last four days. She immediately was like, "omg show me your final and get out of here." I showed her both of my finals, and apologized profusely for the sad state of my 2D final. I told her I had allotted the last few days before finals to work on it, but then got sick, so I did the best I could.
This was the real miracle. After I sat there apologizing up and down for how terrible my 2D final was, she told me to give her a copy so she could nominate it for best of quarter. WHAT?
Yes, that's what I said.
Me: WHAT? Are you serious?
Her: Yes.
Me:...That's really sad.
Her:....I know.
Haha. So really, my final IS pretty terrible, but everyone else in my class has been slacking so bad that it's still the best of the group. Wow. I find that both amazing and appalling at the same time.
So in conclusion...the last few days have sucked pretty hard, and this morning I almost lost hope...but hanging in there and staying strong really paid off. My luck really amazes me sometimes. Wow.
Well...the Dayquil is starting to kick in so I'm going to bed.

I knew everything would be fine with your final. Your class should damn well be ashamed of themselves, they got showed up by you doing (what you think is) your worst work. You OWNED them, girl, good for you!!
Feel better, soon. xoxo♥
