Try not to let shit get you down. I do understand just what you're going through. I once dealt with dozens or even hundreds of people every day and knew so many people that my phone got full and I had to delete some people. I had a circle of (what I thought were) great friends. These days, it's me and my dad and two cats. Oh, and my motorcycle and this amplifier I'm building.
And yeah, the bike runs pretty damn good. I got in with a group of whipper snappers on their modern whizbang CBRs and GSXRs, and I kept up just fine... experience helps, I've been riding longer than most of those guys have been alive. Hell, my bike is older than those guys! Towards the end of my time with them, we got on the highway and punched it up to about 100 and stayed there, so I stepped out to the other lane and waled on it! I passed 'em all and took the next exit and headed for home. It felt good to show those kids what a fat old man on an old home made bike can do!

That is really sweet. I'm sorry things didn't turn out the best with the girl though it does sound like it has helped you to work some other useful things out. It is too easy to create something more wonderful out of someone who isn't really so great. I think I read way too much and so I feel like things like love should be an amalgamation of all these fictional experiences I have collected in my mind. I think I will be endlessly disappointed if I don't start being a little more realistic sadly! Hope you're well and feeling a little better about things.
