Bloody hell it's cold here. We finally got Winter and now it won't fucking go away. I like it actually, just the driving part. I drive about 200 miles a day for work.
I go to Tucson next week so I hope it is really cold when I leave. I watched SLC Punk the other night and thought it wasn't brilliant but a good try at portraying a small scene with a few bright people. I am afraid that it has been my experience where punk is mostly just a catch-all basin for various social rejects who dye their hair and get a tattoo. They aren't sure what it is that they are into or about, but others in the scene are the same way so everyone gets accepted. But then people start to act stupid and think it's 'punk' but it's not - it's stupid. So maybe the people who most believe in a punk attitude aren't even in the scene!!
I just came for the music and beer.

i actually live about an equal distance to toronto, buffalo, and detroit.. so hockey coverage is pretty intense. i imagine the beginning of the year in colorado when the avs were tanking was pretty intense. they're not used to losing.
and, don't knock the eastern conference... that's where they play the real hockey.
anyway, did you read my comments about the Avalanche wives coming in to my restaurant? How amusing. Do you happen to know who's married to the really really scary looking blonde chick?
