Welcome Xgamers to Aspen! I wish I was going but due to financial constraints my employer has nixed trips that cost money, and I don't like to work for free. Last year was epic! The events were cool and all but after you've been to one super pipe event it is sorta' just like any other, only with dozens of cranes, towers, cameras, and volunteers telling you you can't stand in certain places. The best part of last year was the shows. The first night the Supersuckers played. 2nd - Mos Def. 3rd - Green Day. I "media'd" my way into them all. There's something about getting to shows that you really have no business being at, especially in Aspen. We had 10inches of snow one night and the next day the events were cancelled so we all went snowboarding on Ajax, which only started "allowing" snowboards in '01. We were having the rides of our lives until I got slid by an bunch of new snow. I was pretty much buried but John and Kurt from Burton dug me out. Glad they were there!
