I had a great time last Aug. in Pland. My good friend Ed and I drove down from Seatown for a little sight seeing and shopping. 2nd Ave Records kicks ass, though they are a little pricey. Did anyone ever see the Wipers in person? The big thrill was Powells. Fuck. I have never seen anything like it! There's probably like 6 SG's that work there but I was too busy browsing. Bookstores with computers rock. Dinner at Jake's - love this place.
So sad to hear about Craig Kelly. Such style. I didn't know him but I bought my first Kelly Air 11 years ago. Everyone's like "he died doing what he loved." Well I think that's bullshit. He didn't love sucking down snow and hurting the ones he loved.

I never saw the Wipers but I did see members of the Wipers play in other bands throughout the years.
