Hello everyone!
I have almost been avoiding writing a new blog because I have so much to talk about! I can't seem to stop learning so I have been watching a lot of great documentaries, youtube videos, and reading a lot. My last trip to the bookstore burned a $200 hole in my pocket! I've been dorking out in the worst way. Most of the books came from the science, physics, or math section. I have this recent urge to learn things that I had been dismissing my entire life. I have always thought of myself as being a right brained person and not giving myself enough credit for being able to grasp math and science. That has all changed in the past few weeks/months.
This one is going to take me a while to read. There are a lot of equations and as I just said, I have never been terribly good at math. Still, it fascinates me!
Lately, I have been obsessed with sacred geometry, the foundations of everything in the universe as we know it. I feel that by studying these things, one can become closer to unlocking the secrets of the universe.
I also bought this one to learn basic geometry and to learn how to draw these shapes to incorporate them into my artwork. I have been painting these shapes for a while now but have not used a ruler or a compass, so I believe that this will make me a better artist.
My boyfriend picked out this one and some others as well. But this is just crazy. I read a little bit and its about particles experiencing the same events at the same exact time when they are separated from each other and in separate locations. Weird shit...
And last but not least, this one. This book is a guide to understanding symbolism in art. How can one be a better artist, if she doesn't understand the art that came before her? So.. these are some of the things that have been taking over my life lately. Not so bad, huh?
I have also decided to "cut the crap", so they say and go vegan. It has been working out great and I have finally made the switch. I feel so much better now
I just applied to join the vegan group so I can celebrate my new diet and hopefully connect with some other SG vegans. I have some wonderful cookbooks that really helped me make the switch.
Believe it or not, this is just an introduction for things to come. I just thought it might be a good idea to give myself a head start and get some of this out there for ya'll to avoid overwhelming you with pages upon pages of life. 'F'raid that's all for now yo!

you should do, geology gets you out into the fresh air, plus you'll never meet a bigger bunch of drinkers than us geologists.
