I've been trying to figure out this site lately. I spend most of my online time on Flickr, and they have the whole conversation down pat. All the comments on a photo are found, oddly enough, under the photo. Wouldn't it be cool if you could comment directly on a photo in a set here? If you're having a conversation on Flickr, they're easy to follow, and easy for everyone else to follow too. Because when you reply to someone, you post it underneath their comment. And it's easy to follow, because they have a "comments you made" link, and it shows all the recent activity on threads you've been active on.
Here, people post their replies on your current blog. While I understand what most of you are referring to, I can't imagine what someone who is visiting would think. I got to thinking about this when I saw a post from Edea who said "potato chips are good". I was actually stumped for a few minutes, until I remember posting something under a blog she started asking people to tell her something interesting. I said that a pound of potato chips costs 200 times that of a pound of potatoes.
So, let me try to interpret the comments on the last blog. Tita was responding to a comment I made on a fantastic set of hers that she is hoping to get in Second Chance Sundays.
Roane was just thanking me for a vote of support on her decision to stop blogging here. Not that I wanted her to go away. And hey, she couldn't stay away anyway... she returns looking amazing.
Vienna was responding to a comment I made on her blog when she mentioned she won some tickets to see David Cronenberg & Viggo Mortensen. She actually won twice, and I said "you won twice, huh? that means you can take someone else, right?". I didn't get the invite.
Phinn was responding to a picture of my mother I had linked to on her blog. Just go check out the pictures, Phinn hasn't lost an ounce of cuteness.
Giulia made a request this past Saturday for someone to make her a banner, and so I whipped one off for her. I'm still not sure when I get to collect on that spanking promise.
Malloreigh asked in her blog about what the favorite thing was about the city we live in. I gave her a link to a really cool vegetarian restaurant we have that's situated in an antique store. Oh, and then she said that she's been on since the beginning at Last.FM - and I countered with the fact that I've had more plays. Geek one-upmanship.
Vienna came back to respond to a comment I made about her Spongebob shirt.
Yes, Edea, potato chips are good.
Thanks for all your comments & hellos folks, even when I'm not baring much skin.
