well- it's been over a month since I last updated. I didn't realize it had been that long. What's new? I guess I'll start with this-
pardon the flakes, it's healing.
As I was updating I got a phone call with some bad news. My friend Todd took my '66 Fender Mustang to his guitar genius when he went to get his Anderson set up. I had disasembled it to do some work on it and found the code on the neck saying it was a 66 instead of the 80's piece of crap I thought I had. And the verdict is- the neck has a backbow and the fretboard is starting to peel away from the neck. So I could spend $200 to maybe get in a shape where it wouldn't play the way it should. The silver lining- he said that I could get $400 for it as is on ebay. The tuning pegs are worth $100 for the set.
Anybody have a Tele they want $400 for?
I was so psyched about having a kick ass vintage guitar. One damn year post CBS. One damn neck curve from being valuble, but more impotantly, playable.
