I'd have to say it's a very strange feeling. Certainly one I didn't expect to feel today or any time soon for that matter.

I don't really know how to explain how I'm feeling or even how to deal with it.

My aunt called me a bit ago and left me a message to call her as soon as possible. I didn't think much of it since we talked last night and she was going to be getting back to me about some family info I asked for. I knew from the sound of the message though that something wasn't right.

When I called her back I didn't get the information I expected to get about my father. I found out that my father passed away in 2005. I don't know how to take it. It's very shocking to me.
