Elle is unemployed. Count me in on those statistics.
Luckily my entire life is about to change, so it may as well begin here.
And shit, I am getting married to a fucking amazing man in less than a month! How can I be bummed? I am bummed that I will not make the money I was making even if I do get a temporary job or any job for that matter. I am also bummed that I was the next one in line to get laid off. I have watched over 400 layoffs occur in the company in the last three months. I knew I was next. It was just a matter of my boss talking his boss into keeping me on this last week. And I am getting paid right now because they paid me through today. My former boss handed me the check and said I could stay or go. I left, but not without him ensuring he would give me a good reference.
And I have ultimately decided to give the Ruca to some friends of the family. I know she would not be the same after a long flight. My poor sweet darling,

We had a wonderful holiday, thanks for asking! We were very nearly snowed in to my moms, luckily her boyfriend owns a snow plow, so we were able to split, but to be honest none of us really wanted to go, her place was so damn cozy.
