i have had to take lots of deep breaths for the past hour and a half. i wrote what i thought was a great APA paper for my psych class. i had a 16 page article i had to summarize which was really hard. the psych lab guy who you can have proofread your paper told me to stop citing so much and paraphrase. he also kept telling me to move the location of my citations in the sentences.
well thank goodness i am close to my prof bc i was told there was plagarism in my paper.
the 2 sentences that were plagarized had citations somewhere else in the sentance. oh and the guy that proofreads the papers also grades them for my professor. she let me off the hook saying to just fix the mistakes and she would give me a C instead of a F/0 and reporting me (which means getting kicked out of school for good). However, i would have gotten a B.
