The Summer of 2020 was supposed to be one full of epic travel, parties on the lake, and good times. While it was definitely full of good times, the rest of it was put on significant hold.
Back in November/December of 2019, I planned an EPIC road trip for this summer. I was going to take the van across the country and visit every cool site I could find along the way. It was going to be an amazing three month road trip seeing all the parts that make this nation so beautiful. I've lived on the East Coast my whole life, and while I've been to Vegas, Tuscon, LA, and Portland for work, you never actually see the places you're going when you're there for work. At least, I don't. I end up working 16 hour days and passing out in my hotel room at the end of the evening. I was planning to spend as much time in each place as I wanted, with no real schedule to keep. If I felt like I needed an extra few days to really explore San Antonio, I was going to take it.
And then, Covid came for all of us. It wasn't the end of the world, but it was the end of my cross-country travel plans for sure. Things change, and life happens, so I just decided to spend the summer quarantined at the lake. I had a boat, a whole lake to explore, and a HUGE new bikini sponsor sent me an entire box of bikinis. As you can see from the photo below, you can fit a LOT of bikinis in a box!
I spent almost every day this summer out on the boat.
I wore a LOT of bikinis.
One day, cruising around the lake, I found a place I later came to call Tits out Cove. Anyone who's ever been on Lake Lanier in the summer knows there are like 30,000 boats on the water every day. The amazing place known as Tits Out Cove was a quiet little creek WAY off the main water. Even on the busiest days, i'd only see 1 or two boats per day, and they almost never stopped or stayed, they'd just run back, turn around and head out. It was paradise. I could be naked on the boat, and if we heard someone coming I'd just slip back into a thong, and cover my nipples with my arm. The rest of the time was glorious Tits out Sunning.
It was sometimes lonely, I'd planned on spending the summer with friends, what's the point of having a huge pontoon boat if you're not surrounded by mostly naked women, music and adult beverages? But pandemic... I did have a few friends out on the boat with me sometimes, but only 1 or 2 at a time, and none of them are SG's so I can't share those socially-distanced photos here.
But there was LOTS of tits out time!
Then we get to July. I got an offer I couldn't refuse on the lakehouse, and accepted it. That house was always meant to be a flip, not a long-term place. And while I'd grown to love it, it was a CRAZY expensive property to maintain. The wake boats alone did thousands of dollars a month worth of damage to my dock. The landscaping was almost a thousand a month to maintain. Property taxes were astounding. The renovations were done, and the place was show-room amazing, and I got to enjoy living there for four extra months. And at the end, I got an all cash offer for more than I ever thought I would get when I bought the house. So, yeah. It was time to move.
I owned a house in South Florida, but it had tenants in it. But, in a stroke of luck, their lease was up July 31. So I made them extraordinarily angry by not renewing their lease. They had lived there for a couple of years, and took good care of the place, but now it was time for me to go live there again.
Once they were out, renovations started on the FL house. I rented an AirBnB a block from my house for the whole month of August, packed all my stuff into a UHaul, and put it in storage down here in FL.
In Florida I live a few blocks from the naked beach.
The naked beach is my happy place. It's where I'd most like to be 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
A bunch of things happened in August. I lost my Instagram account with 135,000 followers and started over. (Instagram.com/elle.delsol now, if that's something you're into). That was a HUGE hit, especially since I had a LOT of sponsorship contracts to uphold, and had to renegotiate. But I'll rebuild the new one, and I'm making decent progress. On the flip-side, my OnlyFans EXPLODED, and I briefly hit the top 1.9% for a few days before settling into the top 2-3.
So, it's Mid August, and I'm *technically* homeless, living in an AirBnB, visiting the naked beach every day the weather allows. Life is pretty good, just very different than I originally thought it would be. I try to live my life with a "never pass an opportunity without fully exploring it" kind of mentality. I say all the time, "Never pass a door that you don't look in" (Metaphorically, you freaks! Don't ACTUALLY open people's doors!)
