I can not believe how long it is taking me to re-decorate one tiny ass room. My goodness. I finally just got the border put up. The border is only about three inches tall- it's not one of those foot long monstrosities. I did a buncha touching up last night. I finished the cabnets yesterday afternoon. I just need to finish the hardware (handles, knobs, etc..) I was thinking about priming them and then spraying a pewter color on them, but I think I am going to go with chrome because the facets in the tub and the sink are chrome. I can not believe I left that awful brass in there for so long. I seriously hate brass. It's so gross. OH YEAH? who mixes chrome and brass? I mean- why were the handles brass to begin with when the facets are chrome? I don't get it..????
Mom didn't get her chompers. They called and canceled the appointment.
The dentures were still at the lab. The VA takes forever to reschedule. *sigh* She's was so depressed. I was just pissed. I've been looking forward to her finally having a beautiful smile. It really effects the way people treat her. She's schitzophrenic and acts like a small child a lot of the time. I used to hate it and get really pissed off that she was acting like a kid. meaning- she asks me the same question over and over. She does a half ass job when doing any of the chores. Her room is disgusting. (I'm saying this?) She has piles of crap everywhere in her room and still continues to buy more and more all the time. She seriously is the sweetest person in my world though. A lady tasked me one time in a mental institution- "How can you not love a small child?" So, something snapped in my head and I appreciate my mother more and more with each and every passing day. She'd walk across fire for me. She'd walk across fire for any of her nieces, nephews, grandchildren, grand nieces and nephews and so on. She's very giving. She buys my kids really nice things all the time.
Well- next month I'll be 35 years old. My mom and I went out and she let me pick out a ton of Urban Decay at Ulta. I also bought one other thing that was some different brand of sparkly eyeliner. I have most Urban Decay Sparkley eyeliners and a ton of NYX glitter eyeliners. The NYX are good so I thought I'd give this other brand a shot. I already had a silver but the chunks or the silver color in this new one look like bigger chuncks of sparkly goodness. Oh yeah- I also got a smash box mascara called Lash Injection. I don't know why I picked it out- I am not that thrilled with it other than the fact that it does not smudge after a couple hours. Its supposed to lengthen. The two best mascaras around are *sign* a Loreal (daughter gets pissed because they test on animals- she ONLY wears URBAN DECAY) one called TELESCOPIC. It's good, but DOLL EYES by NYX is wayyyyyyyyyy better. You can order NYX stuff off of CHERRY CULTURE DOT COM BrooklynBabe turned me onto Cherry Culture about a year or two ago. I love getting packages in the mail marked- CHERRY CULTURE. I bought my beauty blender there and some soy cleanser by Beauty Blender that breaks down the dirt, oil and bacteria from my Beauty Blender sponge and my brushes. It's a phenomenal product. The one thing I wouldn't ever be able to give up though is my PRIMER POTION. It littereally makes your eyeshadow adhere to your lid ALL f*ing day without creasing, smudging or fading. It makes your colors bolder.

UD Primer Potion (I have a ton of it, but I figured I'd grab some for my b-day) It can stow away in my purse
Silver Glitter Liquid liner (to put over my regular UD 24/7 liners
UD 24/7 GunMetal (I use this color the most) Smokey Silver
UD 24/7 Rockstar ( Dark Brown) tame for me N less harsh and in your face than Zero (Blackest black)
UD Hot Pants Lipstick - A pretty tangerine color
SmashBox Lash Injection Mascara (I might give to Ari because she likes it a lot) It doesn't smudge. I just wish it added dynamic length.
The main thing I look for in a good mascara is - does it lengthen. I could give a crap about volume. If you like volume I do recomment BIG FATTY by UD. I am going to see if my mom will get me some doll eyes when she makes her Cherry Culture purchace soon. She's been talking about getting some CC for a few days. I didn't get any eyeshadow because I have so many colors already. I usually just stick to my UD pallet. I gave Ari a buncha pigments in little tiny shaker containers. Ari has more UD than I do- but she's a HUGE PETA person. N since UD is all vegetarian and mostly vegan products- she prefers them to other brands. I became a UD junkie a few years ago when I realized how bold the colors were and how the make-up works so much (I mean SOOOOOOO MUCH) better than leading drug store brands. It sticks. It really sticks if you put the primer potion on first.
OH! Mom also got me some Bare Minerals. I thought I'd be a medium, but I'm a light. I love Oregon, but I hate being alabaster. I'm practically transluscent. People look at me crazy when I tell them I'm Native American Indian. I'm actually Hines 57 (A little bit of everything) but my grandparents on both sides of my family have a lot of Indian Blood. Cherokee. Oregon makes me look like a vampire. LOL- at least they didn't say I was a fair. I guess i can live with Light. I used to sunbathe at the gym under the lights, but my friends get bent and say I'm going to get cancer. One of them always tells me- you'll fuck your tattoos up if you fake n bake. That stopped me in my tracks. I paid too much money for my arm cuffs and my chest piece to fuck them up. My little pisces on my hip is FUCKED from gaining so much weight and losing and gaining and losing. So all of are names are all stretched out too. Our names incircle the fishies. Hubbies, We are all pisces in my family. Including both kids and my husband.
My Tramp Stamp *sigh* (that I got when I was 21-I think) looks great. It's just the pisces symbolism )-( I thought it was so cute when I got it. A couple years later it seemed like everyone had a STAMP. *tear* I thought I was special. I got it in 95- I think) Anyway whatever.
So anyway- I have more tattoos, but I'll spare you. Somehow I think this post is too long and mainly just for me to get my shallow thoughts out of my head. Nothing deep and profound here today kids. As usual. Maybe someday soon I'll write a blog that says I'm starting school or something exciting like that. As for now and the next couple months- I'd re-decorating the house and painting all the walls fun colors. Except the Kitchen. It's going to be Chololate. I don't want to have to prime it. It's the biggest room om our home and it opens into the den. I have to also get the garage cleaned out so that we can put the pool table out there and make the den a library and a reading area.
My diet is going well. I'm all bloated from my period though. I have been drinking lots of water. I need to exercise more. I figure in a couple weeks- I'll be with the whole swing of things and you will really be able to tell I've been working hard. I am going to a wedding on March 23rd. I want to get a pretty dress. I'll check out Torrid and see what they have.
I need to take a shower because I don't have:

Anyway I dont actually drink the protein shakes. I found out that Carnation Instant Breakfast is way cheap and jsut as good. I also get the generic version of the ensure.. throw a banana, a little bit of oats and some vanilla yogurt and I have a shake! I mix it up. Now they ARE high in calories so this MIGHT not help... but I just know the cheaper stuff cuz well I am a broke ass!
So BrooklinBabe is not ok?? I am worried now so I am off to go check!
I like everything you've done, despite the cute overload. Very vibrant, but everything blends or contrasts well. I just noticed what looks like little rolled up wash cloths or towels under the cabinet. Great stuff.
