These are so scary to do haha because so many times we make resolutions that we can't really stick too. I also feel like our resolutions change through the course of the year and we develop new goals and aspirations.
Usually my number one resolution is to just be happy. Genuinely happy with everything I do. And when you take that happiness matter into your own hands and don't let anyone else affect it, is when it will truly happen.
Other than that, I do actually have a few resolutions this year.
After the awesome success of my Christmas charity which about 95% of support came from the SG community which was beyond amazing and truely shocked me, I decided to do some more ! I'm hoping this year to do a charity for the acid survivor foundation (women who have fallen victims to acid attacks in India ) and one for the elderly. My best friend is a nurse in a nursing home and a lot of her patients are left by families and practically abandoned or these families don't buy them clothes or send them anything. So I'd really like to give back and collect some blankets and night gowns for these people :) as well as continue doing my Christmas for foster children.
I have so much to be grateful for in my life. After living a rough childhood, surviving drug addiction (been clean for 3 years now!!), and finally being able to pursue my art and be happy with me. I have to be able to help people live better and achieve their happiness.
Other than that my other goals this year is to travel more. Which I started off quite well cause I'm leaving for the Bahamas in 3 days ! And then in February going to New Orleans. I much rather spend money on experiences than material items so I'm pretty stoked to finally do this.
And last but not least and probably most important..
I need to get my tattoo apprenticeship this year. It's going to be very hard but it's something I MUST do.
