It was awesome !!!
I planned this trip at the end of May as my mans birthday gift (his birthday is July 3rd) and I knew we had to go to Harry Potter world !
It was just as magicial as I thought it would be, if not even more. We stayed at the cabana bay beach resort which is made to look super 1950s-1960s era. As I was booking and saw they had 3 pools and a bowling alley and a gym I had to go. And my view wasn't that bad either 😉
We got there pretty late the first night so it was just swimming and bowling but it was pretty dope. I definitely reccomend the hotel. And not to sound lame or anything but it was cool to have a hotel room with a separate living room and kitchen ! I never had that before and didn't even know it came with the room. ( here's where you can probably tell I'm not that fancy huh ?!)
But the second day was all universal studios and Harry Potter !!! I wish I took more pics but to be honest I was too busy on rides and experiencing the actual experience. I was so lucky it must've been a slow day because I didn't wait more than 20 minutes for a ride if even that. Probably the longest thing I waited for was to get into to ollivanders to get a wand.
I also got chocolate frogs as gifts for my friends (since I'm vegan) but I'm not going to lie I had to taste an every flavor bean...
Whatever you do please don't ever eat the vomit one. I swear it's made from real vomit. Most horrible thing I ever ever ate !!
Pumpkin juice on the other hand is beyond amazing and I wish I could drink it all of the time !
I really wish they sold the skele-grow bottles though :/ I only saw them on display in a window.
Gringots was amazing !! As well as the hogwarts castle!! I don't want to give away anything for anyone who is going.
Other than universal I spent a lot of time in the pool, hot tub, racing go karts which I never did before ! It was great. And a dope mini golf place that was alien themed
Overall it was an amazing trip with my love !
