Spent the weekend in Madras. Lots going on in that little town, drag racing, air show, sunshine, bike riding, camping, meeting new friends, drinking beer, eating under the stars... it was a blast.

"It's not Who I am underneath, but What I do that defines me"

Saw that movie last night... at a real movie house... and It was:

S P E C T A C U L A R ! ! !

It's been so long since I've been to a real movie in a new Century theater and only 1/2 mile from home. A friend told...

Cold in a "it feels like I'm in a morgue the temperature is so low" way.

Except Mission Impossible. That was hot in a "yeah, Tom Cruise, you have a drop of sweat going down your face. Must be nice to have a single one instead of these buckets coming off everyone in the theatre. Wow this place is stinky"

Unless I remember to bring a coat with me, I spend most movies hugging myself and shivering. shocked

There's a concert/show thing in Bend this weekend, some bands that my friends really like, and I'm really just going to hang out with them.

Spent Sunday at the local drag strip's Mopar Nationals. Worked at our equipment stand at the swap meet, then when eliminations started after noon, we closed shop and enjoyed the races. In our racing group, among them, two young guys in Dodge pickups were the only ones who got to the semi-finals before getting bumped by some "more experienced" drivers. None-the-less, it was amazing. Their...

Last night I just bought, (paid $25), and downloaded a copy of acoustica, the CD ripper, at acoustica.com and once installed, seems to work very well at mixing CD selections into one albumn. The install wasn't without problems though. It seemed to be missing a dll named riched32.dll. So I googled for it, found a site where I could download a copy, put it in...

Will be going early like very soon so I can have my favorite breakfast at Emmanons on NW Lovejoy just a couple of blocks away from the center. It's a quiet little friendly resturant/bar,...

Presently am working on a 3D stereoscopic slide show using Powerpoint. One of the digital geeks in our club has... count them... not one but two dlp digital projectors and he hooks the second digital projector up to his computer much the same way as you would a second monitor, so when you set the page width in Power Point to 21.333 inches wide by...

Today's the day I should go to a funeral but can't and that pisses me off. You see a friend died of a heart attack a week ago.... actually not really a very close friend or anything like that but what makes it weird is a week before he died, we were all at the races in Cottage grove and he spent the whole time...

Sunday, the day before Memorial day, drove to Cottage Grove and took in the Outlaw type Sprint car races there Sunday night and were they exciting. A 17 year old from Langley, BC won the A main feature. Good for him. Haven't seen sprint car races for many years. Stayed overnight with friends there and together, we all sat around the camp telling lies and...
