Yesterday we went to Eugene, actually Pleasant Hill to pick up a 401 CID big block Mopar engine from our engine builder. It will then have to be crated up and sent off to a customer in Australia.
Today's one of those days where you don't know which direction it will take. On the one hand I might be taking the greyhound on a walk in a park with a friend and her new dog so they can meet each other but we that's still up in the air... or my neighbors have just traded their "Buluga" the whale of a motorhome for a newer, (and bigger), one, and will probably take delivery today so not sure how much they want me to get involved in that.
Update to above: So it was off to my friends house in SE Portland to see her new dog. We went on an enjoyable hike through Mt Tabor, part of which is open to dogs off leash. She has a beautiful dog with a wonderful shiny maybe a bit of a kinky black coat with some white accents, so he looks more of the Border collie he has in him, although his muscle tone and bone size are more like the part black lab that he is. She only lives 15 blocks from there so afterwards we had tea and just kicked back and hung out. A great afternoon.
Second Update: Neighbors got their motorhome Saturday night. Called me up Sat night around 11... already in bed... got dressed... sort of... slipped shoes on... went out to see their new motorhome... went inside... his wife had a beer waiting for me... she always knows I want one... so we sat in their new MH christening it with booze until after midnight... It's a monster... 37 footer... glad he's putting the gas in... who'd want to pull up to the pumps with that thing... at $3/gal? maybe? Oh well... So today I have to help them figure out how all the gadgets work.
Saturday afternoon I work at 3D Center on NW Lovejoy off 19th street in Portland, Oregon. About a dozen of us members of the Local 3D photography club are showing our photos there this month, sort of like a gallery. I have two stereo pairs hanging there now. First time ever for me.
Then next week we'll be getting ready to set up for the hugh car swap meet at the Expo and PIR, probably one of the biggest auto swap meet on the west coast that will start next Wednesday. Can't wait.
So it's like "Smoking cigarettes and watching Kaptain Kangaroo, don't tell me... I've nothing to do..."

my stresses are the same, but i'm used to them, kind of.
my valiant is no more...well it still exists (i hope) i just don't own it anymore. i had to sell it because, for about 4 months, i had no place to park it and no money to rent a place to park it.... . maybe someday i will get to see her again. it was my first car and my favorite, ahhh good times....
