So I've become an instant fan of Mariska Hargitay of "Law and Order" SUV, or is it SVU, especially after seeing her last night on Leno. She showed a side of her that was very pleasant, warm, personable, candid, spontaneous and she gives "good interview". In my opinion, she may even surpass Cate Blanchett or even Megan McCormick of Globetrekker. On L&O SVU, she's always got this expression that makes it look like she doesn't like what she's doing or doesn't want to be there or she comes on as a very hard, course person. Well, after all, she plays a cop so I guess she has to act it. That was not the case on Leno last night. To me she seemed so happy, was funny, very attractive and just had a way about her that was simply beautiful. I think she should do more roles that would bring that side of her out. I'm not a die hard Leno fan at all. Since he's become famous, he's not as funny as he used to be when he was a stand up comic. Now that he's famous, it must be "beneath his dignity" to come up with his own stuff or be original or rely on his comic ingenuity that got him there in the first place and he "gets by" by reading his cue cards word for word and if he stumbles, it throws him way out of it. I only check him to see who he's having on and last night she was and she was great.
