I just found out the husband of a good friend of mine has cancer. He goes in tomorrow to see if it has spread (they did tests last week). Best case scenerio is that he will loose a big chunk of his upper thigh taking out any remaining tissue that could be affected (he had a ump from thisarea removed a week or so ago). I don't know the effects of this as it sounds like they would have to take some of the muscle mass. However, at this time this is what they are praying for. If it has spread the best case scenerio is 5 years with radical treatment. They have a 6 and 4 year old and she is 1 month pregnant. To top it all off they just found out their oldest son has a virus that is very common and not dangerous for kids but is very threatning to pregnant woman. I'm freaked out and sad and don't know what to do. I feel so helpless in these situations. I know there is nothing to be done, but I want to help. I can't even just take her kids for her because her 4 year old has very severe food allergies and only Rich and Elizabeth know how to properly watch for things. AAAHHHHHH
