Yes, the beach was great but would have enjoyed it more if I was not worrying about my mom's health most of the time there. Things have been crazy lately. I think I have good news though, I am not going to Germany until November now so I can make it to all the cool stuff going on in October! I just got back from my company's office in Lynchburg, VA today. I spent last night there and had some technical stuff to do there this morning. I spent most of the afternoon visiting friends and meeting people I had traded e-mails with but had never seen. Lynchburg is actually a nice place. If it were not for Jerry Falwell's obvious influence, it would probably be even better to live there. No strip clubs! Can you believe it? Sounds like hell on earth if you ask me.

I hope to catch up with you peeps soon and hopefully before the slumber party. I need to put in some serious overtime with work, though, because I have been a slackass and have not really worked on the documents I am supposed to have done soon. I really gotta get my ass in gear. It is just so easy to goof off at work and e-mail everyone instead. I take stuff home with me but I usually never even touch it. Is it possible to find a job that you actually enjoy? I love all the people I work with and it is cool to tell people about my job but doing it is a whole other matter.

I have recently discovered that I really like O.A.R. What a great band! I have heard people talk about them but never really took the time to listen to their stuff. Pretty good. Gets a little jam-like every now and then but there are some really good songs.
