Apparently, it's an Aye Aye, a type of lemur native to Madagascar.
That's all well and good, but man...you can't really blame the Madagascaranians for believing its presence to be an evil omen, can you. *shudder*
I want one! I shall call it "Dobby" and train it to hiss at precocious child actors and leap into their hair.
