I'm cooking up some test recipes today that I plan on making for my trip to burning man. Our camp combines our buying power, and we meal plan and buy stuff in bulk, and then we cook, freeze and vacuum seal everything before we hit the playa so all we have to do is warm things up sous vide style in the bags when it's dinner time at camp. Makes for way less cleanup and prep work while in the desert!
Today I'm cooking three recipes, the first one I made is this one; Tofu Tikka Masal (No Onions, No Garlic)
We have several people in camp who cannot have onions and other things so we do our best to make sure all the things we cook everyone can eat. That's part of the reason we test it out ahead of time. I cannot complain, cooking food and tasting it is my favorite kind of research!
