Entertaining with some interesting takes on gender, sentience, and what it means to be a person. There are a few twists along the way, and the characters are all pretty likable. I finished up the trilogy last week and would recommend it to anyone.

This is an older video that was shared by one of the people I camp with. I love these old videos of the event, because it helps me realize how much has changed, but how much as also stayed the same! Enjoy!

My ticket for Burning Man is now in my "possession." I put possession in quotes because what I have is a digital receipt for will call tickets, but it will get me though the gates in a round about way. I'll be standing in line on gate road Monday the 22nd with a bunch of other campers and such, waiting for my turn to get...

Yeah!! I also have my digital copy and will be right there with ya in line at will call. Still hoping to get a ticket for my partner, ugh 😑 and working on all the things but overall so excited to go home.

I hear you about working on all the things @cooky! Holy cow, there is so much to do. I've been cooking up a storm the last few days, and our project is behind schedule so we're all trying to get into the shop as often as we can. Then we also just had a last minute cancellation from one of the people who was going to come with us because they suddenly got a new job they applied for ages ago so we're now a man down when we hit the playa. Not that we don't have the manpower to do all the work when we get there, but all the extra hands is good! All that said, I'm so ready for this, even if it sucks I'll be happy. :D

There is a new set that came out today that is almost exactly the same as the previous set from the same model that was released back in June. Most of the photos are the same, and even in the same order. It might be worth looking into the photo-set review process a bit ya'll.

I'm cooking up some test recipes today that I plan on making for my trip to burning man. Our camp combines our buying power, and we meal plan and buy stuff in bulk, and then we cook, freeze and vacuum seal everything before we hit the playa so all we have to do is warm things up sous vide style in the bags when it's

@dtimm87 Yeah, a city of 80K people is built and torn down in a few months time. There are people out there months ahead of time surveying and getting stuff ready for when the art and campers start showing up. Then there are people out there about a month after making sure everything is cleaned up and taken away properly. I know a few guys who go out for about 4 months a year to set up and tear down. Our camp pays extra attention to everything, when we leave, our last two hours or so of tear down is to literally comb the area where we were camped and look for anything from the size of a human hair on up and remove it from the desert.

Very cool man! Best to leave it the way you found it, or as close as possible haha

I've uploaded these photos multiple time and it just paused in the middle and never finished. It happens all the time. I finally got them all to upload but album view now only shows the seesaw, but whatever.

Got an Asian fusion breakfast burrito instead of standing in the 3 mile line for the Starbucks.
