Cars suck don't they? I am forever having problems with them of some type or another.
A few months ago I lost a car to hurricane isabel's flood. Insurance paid for it, so that worked out in a way.

Being able to tolerate one's mother for extended periods of time is pretty cool. 
I can understand where you are coming from (the above rant). I've been all over and find that most large communities live by the cattle and sheep theory. You find pockets of miniature communities (small college towns for example) that are more pleasant to live in. I live in a large city, Columbus Ohio, and have learned to just deal with the environment.
