Sorry not to have updated in awhile, not that too many people read this, but oh well. Back from FL but really sick - some sort of stomach virus, I think.
On the up side, I finally got my new laptop installed. I miss my mouse.
Florida was great - I gave Minnie a kiss on the nose! I swear, Disney World really IS the happiest place on earth. I always feel so up when I'm there. The family did MGM on Mon, Universal on Tues, Epcot on Wed., Animal Kingdom on Thurs., Magic Kingdom on Fri, and SeaWorld on Sat.
That was my first trip to SeaWorld - amazing! I was afraid that all the little kids would be banging on the way-too-small tanks, but everything there was well-managed. Almost all of the animals were either bred in captivity or rescue animals. All of the manatees there had huge scars on their backs from boat propellors - some were even missing chunks of their tails. People suck.
But anyway, I got to do their "Trainer for a Day" program, which was probably the best day of my life so far. I've been so undecided about what I want to study in college this fall, and this was such a good experience because now I know without a doubt I want to go in marine mammal field research. During the program, I walked around with a trainer in a wetsuit and got to hold a sea otter, got kissed by a 2300-lb walrus, studied sea lions, swam with a dolphin, met a false killer whale, and of course got to hang out with Shamu. I get pics back next week - I'll post some if I ever figure out how to use this 'puter. I am a complete computer RETARD.
Hope everyone had a very merry Christmas and fun New Year!

Yep. It was my favorite disney series as a kid. I needed the pic for another person's journal a few weeks back.

Once you get used to your laptop, you'll never want to handle a mouse again! What do you have, a lcd screen or a track point? LCD's rock the house. Track points give you a callous on your finger. Both are better than a mouse.
