*sigh*
i just want to share with all of you that i had the most fulfilling saturday this past weekend. it was sunny and 60 degrees, and for this midwestern town, it's rare this time of the year. so josh and i took advantage of it and took a little trip to a quaint little town, filled with little mom-and-pop shops. it was a breezy, conversation-filled half-hour ride there, and a free-spirited, laughter-ridden 2 hours spent shopping and walking around when we got there. we ate vegetarian black bean soup from a bread bowl, bought fresh saltwater taffy for a dollar a pound, and the best apple butter i've ever tasted.
we drove back, went to see "The Life of David Gale" (i love kevin spacey and have to see all of his movies. this one was very good as well.), and finally came back home to go to sleep.
it was heavenly. it was beyond wonderful. one of my favorite days in a long, long time.
