Boy I need to get to snapping some more pictures! I'm feeling the photography itch again! I been having some great ideas about combining my sculptures with my photography, so I can't wait until everything's fired and I can bring them home and play!
Speaking of sculpture, today in my class, we had a (semi) nude male model to sculpt. It's a new turn for me, but I really like doing the full human body for once. My favorite thus far is the larger-than-life hand project we just finished, of which I will soon post photos, but this is going up the list. Also, I plan on modeling for the figure sculpture class next semester. I've already talked to my instructor about it. I think it would be a good idea to see what it's like from the model's perspective, to get an all-around feel for sculpture. I plan to take this experience far into my life; I've really grown to love it.
Challenge:
If anyone has an excellent, scrumptious Tofurkey recipe they'd like to share with me, PLEASE DO SO! I'm going to attempt one this year, and I'd like to get recipes from those who've tried it and loved it! Plus any advice would be great! Thanks!

1/2 cup soy flour
1/2 cup nutritional yeast
some Onion powder and a bit of Garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
Wet Mix:
12oz. firm (not silken) tofu
1 1/2 cups water
3 tablespoon soy sauce or Bragg's
1 tablespoon olive oil
Put wet mix in a blender.
add Dry to Wet. Knead for a bit. Let it sit for an hour or so. Knead again for a few minutes.
Put the dough into a bread pan, heat the oven to 200 or a bit above 200 and bake for 3 hours. Flip over the loaf once, turn oven to 325 and bake for another half hour.
There's a baste, too, but that's basically just oil and vegetable broth.
It's good.
Hooray vegan thanksgiving. I hope you've got a big group of peoples to cook for.
