neer na neer na neer......... ok the beginning of today sucked. i did say that, yes. but my day has since brightened. :-D
earlier:
i have horrible allergies so i've been violently sneezing all day.....
i had an eye exam earlier this morning. i still don't need glasses, but i guess the oil glands in my eyelids aren't working right....i'm not getting enoough oil into my eyes. i didn't really know i had to have oil in my eyes. apparently i do.
and dammit my pupils are STILL dilated!! i am sitting ridiculously far from the computer screen right now in order to see it. and i even got to wear those stylish paper sunglasses on the drive home! wooooo hooo!!
later:
YAY!!! MY WAITLISTED CLASS WAS FULFILLED TODAY!!!! I GET TO HAVE A POETRY CLASS WITH TATUM!!! woooooooo hooooooooooo!!!!! seriously though. if i didn't get that class, i would have been royally screwed. last week, the first week of classes, i never attended the english class i actually WAS registered for because i thought for sure i'd get into the waitlisted poetry class if i attended it and talked to the professor. and oh! it was the most blessedly heavenly class! i swear, a chorus of angels were singing upon entering! or else i'm overly dramatic. either one.
but the professor was a sweet, younger lady, studying to get her masters in poetry, so lively, friendly and awesome. and the class was full of interesting (and also friendly) students (not to mention TATUM in full-out punk gear sitting RIGHT NEXT TO ME looking hot). and the syllabus sounded like FUN (for a change)! i was sitting there the whole 3-hour class with hearts in my eyes, much like the emoticon on the boards. But alas, last week the possibility of my waitlist being fulfilled was rather bleak. Miss Sweet Professor Lady even said so. I was devastated, thinking i wouldn't get this perfect class, and i'll have to start attending a boring english class a whole week late, resulting in extra work and a look down the nose from the prof.
and then today! voila! a wonderful email from the university said my waitlist had been fulfilled! i get to have the perfect class now! i am so happy :-D
as for all the other things that went well today: i still have 20/20 vision, my kitty played with me a lot, and its sunny and cheerful! oh and now my eyes are no longer dilated! :-D
and how is YOUR day??
