Good to know that I can scare people away if need be.
This entry feels sort of fragmented, but my attention span has been severely lacking, so there you have it. A veritable disclaimer. Life is moving along with just a few challenges here and there, nothing insurmountable. I am feeling a tad under the weather, but I don't think that it's like that crap that I had not that long ago.
I'm registered for school now, but still have to go through the proving my residency process. At least I have some time with that, but I think all systems are go with winter quarter.
As far as hula hooping goes, I'm becoming quite good at corkscrews and hip hooping, but have a looooong way to go. We all start somewhere and I love the fun that I'm having with it. It's a lot easier than I initially thought, taking your clothes off and hooping simultaneously.
My workplace is absolutely asinine in what they expect from their employees and all of that, but I'm keeping the job for now since I still get tons of free goodies and I can schedule school around it. Other than that, I clock in and out and leave the drama there. It's nice to be able to do that sometimes, as work doesn't interfere with my personal life.
I'm trying to list more things on eBay and just generally get rid of things that I don't need. I've been super particular about fashion lately and am going through that stage of OH MY GOD, I DON'T LIKE ANYTHING ANYMORE.
It's tough to dress business casual and like a semi-professional person that people might listen to with what's being offered out there. I'm not into shopping with the teeny booper 80's wannabes at Forever 21, Wet Seal, Papaya, etc., nor am I into the overpriced basics at H&M, Ann Taylor LOFT, Express, and those kind of places.
So I continue to thrift and thrift and peruse eBay. It's a buyer's market on eBay mostly. Case in point, a gorgeous vintage THIERRY MUGLER suit with the wasp waist in my size went for $64. Sadly I didn't bid, but just goes to show you that creative deals can be had.
I do think that this blows about MOCA in Los Angeles. I remember the Rauschenberg exhibit being the last time that I was there. Shame that things don't get attention until they reach an absolute perilous point.
I soft launched my new website and have been feverishly updating it and figuring out a few things. I'm getting better with WordPress, but have a long way to go. Baby steps. Haha, now I'm thinking of Bill Murray in What About Bob!?
I'm excited to eventually see Let The Right One In and possibly Quantum of Solace.
What's your website (or one that you most identify with) and what was the last movie that you saw?
