All of a sudden, I found myself in love with the world, so there was only one thing that I could do...was ding a ding dang my dang a long ling long.
GOBAMA.
Happiness is a warm gun, a warm puppy and also finding a Vivienne Westwood t-shirt for $4.25, no joke.
I almost forgot, these shoes. Yes, they are shiny patent leather. I acquired them inexpensively as well.
Boo on the Prop H8TE debacle. Last time I checked, hatred and ignorance weren't modern values.
Boo on people who are so full of themselves. I'm over it. Life's just too short.
Boo on Washington State community college requirements and the bureaucracy, rigamarole and hoops of fire that I need to jump through. What I'm dealing with now makes Santa Monica College and Los Angeles City College look like a walk in the park.
I shall persevere, though. SURPRISE!! Math test this afternoon, after I was informed that my math credit wouldn't transfer over. Bah, and this is how it goes... one of my doctors had referred me to a neurologist specialist person because he strongly believed that I suffer from a learning disability. Well, besides the ADHD, as this one seems to be math related. I do like math very much in my heart and soul. However, what happens in my head is another story. Something doesn't fire correctly.
I never did see the specialist and just trudged along, which I'm not sure that I will do this time around.
At least I placed in the appropriate class for all the prerequisites that were needed. Whew. I will need some assistance in proving my residency here though, otherwise my classes are going to cost...............
$2610.
Remember that this is for community college and doesn't include books and peripherals. My financial aid comes to approximately $778 per semester, so yeah. If I can prove residency in time, then I'll only have to shell out several hundred dollars for the winter quarter that starts January 5th. Please send good vibes my way, thanks.
I've been cranking Ministry while driving and it makes life a little more interesting on the way to work.
As I mentioned to It_Thing_Hard_On, I've been into my electronic music rut for awhile and am trying to go back to my goth/industrial roots. I went to a goth club on Halloween, which was hilarious, I tell you. Some things never change in that world and it all feels like a 'costume' to me. Inauthentic.
I am changing my hair a little. I need a little more vibrancy to it and will save up accordingly. I still haven't heard back about the new job, so we'll see what happens.
What have you been listening to, lately?
